Dust layer management and dust removal project for large workpiece manual welding

The large amount of smoke and dust generated during the welding process not only pollutes the environment but also poses a serious threat to the health of workers. Welding smoke contains various harmful substances such as Fe₂O₃, SiO₂, MnO, HF and other harmful substances, among which Fe₂O₃generally accounts for 35% of the total dust, followed by SiO₂, which accounts for 10-20%. Long-term inhalation of this dust can lead to various occupational diseases such as pneumoconiosis in welders.
In order to create a better working environment for workshop workers and improve work efficiency, a flexible pipeline manufacturing company has adopted a centralized dust removal system, which not only effectively solves the problem of smoke generated from manual welding of large workpieces but also has low overall energy consumption and material consumption, saving operating and management costs.

The MEGAUNITY welding smoke layered treatment system can meet the dust treatment needs of workshops with a width greater than 30 meters and a height greater than 20 meters, and can be applied to welding fume purification in large machinery and steel structure assembly workshops. This project adopts displacement ventilation technology, which organizes airflow more reasonably, has high ventilation efficiency, and can improve the air quality in the work area without high energy consumption, with little impact on the welding process and high comfort for personnel.
(1)High efficiency filtration:The lower filtration wind speed of the integrated machine ensures high efficiency in filtering welding smoke, effectively removing fine particles from the smoke and ensuring that the quality of the discharged air meets environmental protection standards.
(2)Safety protection:The equipment integrates a spark collector, which can effectively intercept large particles of sparks to prevent ignition of the filter cartridge.
(3)Convenient operation:Using an integrated control system, the overall equipment structure is compact, easy to operate, convenient for maintenance, and reduces operating costs.
(4)Energy-saving and efficient:Using EC external rotor motors, which have advantages such as maintenance-free motor bearings, high energy efficiency, wide speed adjustment range, and low operating noise. The energy efficiency of EC motors is higher than IE4, maintaining a relatively constant efficiency of 91%-95% across various output powers; ensuring operating noise ≤75db.
(5)Intelligent monitoring:The electric control system is equipped with Fbox functionality: the data from the dust purifier can be transmitted to a remote cloud data center, enabling remote data monitoring, equipment diagnosis, program maintenance, and fault alarm functions, greatly improving the intelligence level of the equipment and facilitating enterprise management and maintenance.
